Why ‘Ludwig’ Industries?

The co-creator of Ludwig Industries, Knut A. Eriksen, bought in 2012 a bunny-rabbit and named him Ludwig, or “Ludde” for short.

He was found in a tiny pet-store, where the owner had a large pitbull barking everytime someone came in the door.

Knut was not going to buy something that day, but saw the trembeling little lump of comfy fur sitting in a tiny corner of his cage.

Knut thought “not. today!” And without hesitation, bought the little trembeling critter and brought him home.

It was not until Knut moved, and gave Ludde to his brother for safe keeping, that this little rabbit gained his everyday life, and would come to relax and often waiting for cuddles, or going on an adventure in the apartment.

We named the business Ludwig Industries to pay homage to the small guy who can overcome trauma and bring joy to the lives around him.

Not only that, but we found him a perfect mate, named her Iben, and he lived out the rest of his days a pampered, tiny king of his own castle.
